Frequently asked questions
How does this programme allow for jet lag?
Day 1 has no demanding activity: staggered arrivals, a welcome at El Prat for every flight, rooms requested from arrival where the hotel allows, a light afternoon and a simple early dinner. Team experiences start the next morning, with rested participants. For very early or very late flights, we adapt the welcome and lunch.
What is the ideal length given the flight time?
Four days and three nights allow one day of adjustment, two days of experiences and a short morning before leaving. For teams coming from very far, we can add a night before or after, so the trip remains a reward rather than a strain.
Can the incentive be combined with a few days of sightseeing?
Yes. Around Barcelona, we can arrange for instance a half-day cava winery visit in the Penedès or a day at Montserrat monastery, about fifty kilometres away. These outings can be placed before or after the four days.
Which flights serve Barcelona-El Prat?
According to the destinations list published by Aena, El Prat has direct links to several North American cities (New York, Boston, Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles, Toronto and Montreal, among others) and South American cities (Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Bogotá, Lima, Santiago de Chile), as well as to Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha in the Gulf. For Asia, Aena lists services to Beijing, Shanghai, Seoul, Hong Kong and Singapore. For Tokyo, Bangkok or Ho Chi Minh City, a connection is generally needed, for example via the Gulf or another European city. Routes change, so please confirm them with the airlines for your travel dates.
What about visas?
Entry requirements depend on each participant's nationality and the length of stay. Please check with the Spanish consulate in your country and the official website of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, start the process early, and we will supply the event details useful for your applications.
What happens if the weather rules out the catamaran trip?
If sailing is not possible, the operator offers another date. As the programme is short, we plan a back-up slot in advance, and the programme works best from May to October, when the sea is at its most welcoming.
How do you handle arrivals from several continents?
We build a flight table per participant and group transfers into time slots, so nobody waits too long at the airport. Dietary requirements are collected in advance for every meal, and visits are offered in the language that suits the group.
