Frequently asked questions
How does the first day account for jet lag?
No working session on arrival day. A host meets every flight at Barcelona-El Prat, the W Barcelona is about 20 minutes from the airport, the afternoon stays light and dinner is simple and early at the hotel. The highlights begin the next day.
Why five days after a long flight?
For an incentive, the trip itself has to justify the journey. Five days allow a gentle arrival day, a city day with the Casa Batlló, the catamaran and a memorable dinner, then two days in Mallorca, with a short final morning so that everyone leaves unhurried.
How do we get from Barcelona to Mallorca?
By a short Barcelona to Palma flight, about 50 minutes in the air. We choose the timing with you, taking luggage and transfers into account. For the return, you can leave straight from Palma or go back through Barcelona, depending on your long-haul flights.
How do arrivals from several continents work?
Each participant sends us their flight details and we group transfers by arrival time. Aena publishes the list of destinations served from Barcelona-El Prat, which includes New York, Toronto, São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Hong Kong, Seoul and Singapore, among others. For Japan, Thailand or Vietnam, a connection should be expected. Please check schedules with the airlines, as they change with the seasons.
How does luggage travel between Barcelona and Mallorca?
Our team collects the luggage at the Barcelona hotel, accompanies it to the airport and meets it on arrival in Palma to deliver it to Cap Rocat. For the domestic flight, each person must respect the airline's baggage allowance, which we confirm as soon as the flight is chosen.
Is a visa needed to travel to Spain?
It depends on nationality and length of stay. We cannot give a rule country by country: please consult the official website of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the European Union's official portal on visas and travel authorisations. We will send you the dates, hotels and programme as early as possible to help with applications.
What can we do outside the catamaran season?
The catamaran outing suits May to September best. Outside that period we replace it with a private-group paella class in Barcelona's historic centre, for ten to thirty people, with a tasting at the end.
