The tapas route is a relaxed food walk, at your own pace. The rally keeps the idea but turns it into a friendly competition. Each team receives a roadbook with the stops in the centre and the Albaicín, and a challenge to complete at every stop.
The challenges vary: guessing the ingredients of a tapa, answering a question about the city, taking a photo at a specific spot, tasting a local wine or juice and describing it, spotting an architectural detail. Points reward the right answer, speed and teamwork. At the last stop the ranking is announced and the winning team receives a symbolic prize.
The format works well as a welcome evening or to close a seminar: it mixes the teams and puts everyone on equal footing. The stops are chosen for the group, with non-alcoholic options and dietary requirements known in advance.
Objectives
- Get mixed teams working together in an informal setting
- Discover Granada on foot, from stop to stop, through a game that makes people think
- Create a moment of friendly competition and shared laughter
How it works
- 1Teams of four or five people are formed, each with a name and a captain.
- 2Roadbook and first instructions handed out.
- 3Route of four to five stops in the centre and the Albaicín, with one challenge per stop.
- 4Final ranking and prize-giving at the last stop.
Good to know
- Wear comfortable shoes: the streets of the Albaicín are cobbled and steep.
- Teams stay within the route area and move on foot.
- We adapt the number of stops and the difficulty of the challenges to the audience.

Frequently asked questions
Do participants need to speak Spanish or know the city?
No. The challenges are written in French or English and need no prior knowledge of Granada.
Can the rally replace the tapas route?
They are two different formats. The route is a discovery at your own pace, while the rally adds a competitive side and a ranking. Both can be combined during the same stay.
